IN THE UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE EXAMS

In the university entrance exam, which is held every year and taken by more than one million students, Çakabey High School (with the average of all 12th grade students) achieved these results;

In 2016, Çakabey High school was ranked third of all the state and private high schools in İzmir. 54% of our students were accepted by engineering faculties, and 27% got a place in faculties of medicine.

In 2017, our school was ranked second out of all private and state schools in Turkey in its maths and science scores. 38% of our students were accepted by their first choice faculties. 

In 2018, Çakabey High School was ranked fourth out of all the private high schools in Turkey. 67% of our students were among the top 1% in the country. 47% of our students gained a place at a university that was one of their top three preferences.

When the averages for 2018,2019 and 2020 are taken into consideration our school (with the average of all our students) scores 17.65 points higher than that of all Turkey’s high schools with a science-based curriciulum, and 25.05 points higher than in similar private institutions.

In mathematics and science, our school scores on average 22.57 points higher than all other high schools in the country with a science-based curriculum, and 33.11 higher than equivalent private schools.

We scored an overall average of 22.34 points higher than all high schools in Turkey with a science-based curriculum and 29.08 points higher than equivalent private institutions.

In social studies, our students score 36.66 points higher than all the country’s other high schools with a science-based curriculum and 43.56 points higher than private high schools.

Note- High Schools with a science-based curriculum are those where the most successful students of the country are accepted, based on scores attained in a national exam taken after middle school.
