LEADERSHIP ACADEMY OF CAKABEY

In a future of algorithms and industry 4.0, leadership is even more crucial than before. It is now very important for young people to gain the knowledge, awareness and skills required to be in advance of artificial intelligence and algorithms, not subordinate to them.

Our high school, which holds 2nd place in terms of scores in the national university placement exam, gives great importance to academic proficiency in a multifaceted education programme. The ‘Leadership Academy of Çakabey’ programme has been introduced in our high-school in order that students become ‘ multifaceted ’, which is one of the qualities of a leader.

Associate Professor Dr. Mehmet Güçlü, Vice President of the Economics Department in Ege University’s Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Associate Prof. Dr. Ebru Belkıs Güzeloğlu, Vice President of the Public Relations Department in Ege University’s Faculty of Communication, Dr. Serhun Al, Lecturer of Political Sciences and International Relations in Izmir University of Economics, and Dr. Ülkümen Rodoplu are some of the names taking part in this Academy, lecturing in politics, economics, communication and leadership skills to 9th, 10th and 11th graders.
